Procedures for visiting China

1、 Document needed

Passport with at least six-month validity from expiration date and Valid Visa.  

2.  Document needed to obtain a visa:

Visa application form, Visa Notifications Form from an authorized Chinese Unit, or invitation letters from the host company, meeting or exhibition organizers in China, or an introduction letter from applicant's US company, etc.

3. Visa application procedures:

Please visit Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the United States of America (china-embassy.org) for procedures for obtaining valid visa. Please note that the application process may take up to two weeks.

COVID-19

Due to the pandemic of COVID-19，special invitation is needed for any visa application and it will be on case-by-case basis.

In-Land Transportation

Between cities: High speed train

Inside cities: Subway, taxi and bus

Car rental:  there are limited car rental available at airport and train terminal, but it is not recommended for 1st time visitors.

Hotel:

It is highly recommended to reserve hotel ahead of your visit.
