All of our research protocols are designed according to the 3Rs principal: Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement.

Our Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) reviews all research projects to ensure the 3Rs principals are being followed.

SAFE Gu’an operation is accredited by AAALAC International for animal use and care.
